Iran's Commercial Trade with Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan Resumes

MRUD News—After trilateral video-conferencing meeting between Iran-Uzbekistan-Turkmenistan on 12 May 2020 to examine transport and transit cooperation, Iran Minister of Roads and Urban Development, Mohammad Eslami, in response to the reporters about the plans of the Ministry for resuming the commercial trade stated that "we are to resume the commercial trade. The Health Ministry has set some initiatives and protocols that we have observed every one of them".

He added that from the very beginning we installed doorways for disinfection of trains, but Turkmenistan Government emphasized on 20 meter-long tunnels that we implemented it. By next 15 days, we resumes road and rail transport with Turkmenistan. We hope we can re-launch commerce before long.
