Within the framework of this agreement, Iran Minister of Roads and Urban Development informed of establishing three joint companies and construction of 30000 houses by Iranian companies and contractors in Syria.
Three joint companies will be active in infrastructures, housing, and engineering services. Also there is opportunity for Iranian companies to invest in Syria independently according to the rules of Syria.
Eslami added that these companies work as employers and they can distribute contracting projects in housing to Iranian companies.
Eslami also pointed to the negotiations over transport, customs, and banking which their related issues are being followed up through joint commissions.
Moreover, banking relations will be established through a joint Iran-Syria Bank with a model aligned by the Central Banks of the two countries.
The customs agreements will meet the necessities and requirements relating to development of exchanges, cooperation, and export of technical and engineering services, Eslami added.
Iran Minister called construction of 30000 housings and a couple of other infrastructural projects among other priorities of this agreement which will be announced by Syria's Government.
