 Iran Commercial Transactions with Azerbaijan and Turkey is Ongoing

MRUD NEWS—Iran Minister of Roads and Urban Development delivered a report to the President stating that the commercial transactions with Azerbaijan and Turkey is ongoing and operations of the two railway terminal of Sarakhs and Inchebroun will be resumed soon.

In the meeting of 'National Committee of Combating Coronavirus' held on 7 May 2020, Iran Minister of Roads and Urban Development, Mohammad Eslami, presented the latest report from transport with health protocols and the measures taken including commercial trade in 11 road border terminals  in accordance with the health protocols.

Eslami added that the commercial transactions with Azerbaijan and Turkey in border terminals are ongoing and negotiations have taken place to resume rail terminal of Sarakhs and Inchebroun.

Eslami added that the volumes of basic goods in ports have increased by 63 per cent compared to the last year and the number of exit from port with trains has increased by 2.5 per cent.
