Two Transit Ships Arrived in Chabahar from India and Jebel Ali Ports

MRUD NEWS—According to the Head of Sistan and Beluchistan's Ports and Maritime Organization (PMO), Behrouz Aghaie, two transit ships with containers of total 666 TEU has entered Shahid Beheshti Port of Chabahar from India and Jebel Ali Port (401 TEU and 265 TEU containers respectively).

The container freight is currently unloading in order to be delivered to destination country of Afghanistan. It contains kitchenware, detergents, basic goods, and wheat.

Aghaie pointed to the discounts Chabahar Port offers to the traders and added that with Chabahar Port's potentials for different ships and freights, low costs of maritime transfer, time-efficient and cost-efficient loading and unloading processes, it is expected that freights will be continuously transited in this Oceanic Port.
