Iran, Turkey Connected through Rail

MRUD News—Iran and Turkey are linked via railway as a train departed Tehran at 9:30 am local time on 24 June to arrive at Van at 8 am on 25 June 2019.
In the official ceremony of inauguration, Mohammad Rajabi, head of Raja Company explained that the passengers will get off the train at Razi Station to go through official custom formalities of exiting Iran and then to head towards the border Kapi Koy Station in Turkey. At Kapi Koy Station, the passengers will get off the train again to do the custom and passport formalities to enter Turkey that approximately last for 2 hours.
In total, the trip last for 24 hours on average.
The passengers can buy the ticket from different channels in Iran including 1539 system and Raja Website.
