Chabahar Day Held on 26 February by Presence of International Investors

MRUD News—Trilateral agreement on international and regional cooperation in Chabahar between Iran-India-Afghanistan has been put into effect on the day called as "Chabahar Day" on 26th February due to its strategic importance.
Iran Minister of Roads and Urban development, Mohammad Eslami, attending the ceremony and sideline's fair in this day mentioned that "Chabahar is now ready to play its role in global arena…we are witnessing implementation of this agreement and the first shipment of Afghanistan's freight to India through Chahahar.
Chabahar Port is already operating with high potentials in freight transit in current development phase and so it is predicted to play a decisive role in regional transactions.
In this event Afghanistan's Deputy Minister of Transportation, Imam Muhammad Varimach, and Gopal Krishna, secretary of India's Ministry of Shipping also attended the event.
Iran's Minister pointed to the investment opportunity in Chabahar and told that "currently there are suitable grounds for investment in Chabahar port and Iranian and international companies can invest in this Port'.
