Launching regular shipping Line with pre-scheduled timing between India and Chabahar and offering bilateral discounts on freights and ships will ease and keep the flow of freight transit and implementation of trilateral agreement between India-Iran-Afghanistan, he informed.
Chabahar Port has constructed and operated 5 berths with a depth of 16.5 meters in the first phase of Shahid Beheshti Port's Development Plan. Moreover, container and refrigerated terminal have been constructed and come into operation. With all these initiatives there is no limitation in accepting different kinds of transit freights, Aghaie explained.
Transit and export freights from Iran to India and Afghanistan and vice versa will continue through Chabahar Port that will ensure growth of transit and other modes of transports through this oceanic Port compared to previous years.
Decreased time and costs in Chabahar Port are among key factors that attract freights' owners and gain their satisfactions and trust.
Government and PMO's supports and synergy with related organizations will bring about economic prosperity and balanced and sustainable sea-based developmentalong the east of Iran.
