Iran to extend railway to Syria ,Lebanon Iran to extend railway to west where it will joins transit line to Syria and Lebanon, first VP said Monday. Mohammad Reza Rahimi underlined '' one of the most important government plans for future years is to construct highways and especially west rail way road , the rail way joins Iran’s khosravi border to Iraq ''Reported ILNA.
He added '' after this process we progress the railway road to Syria and Lebanon therefore boosting western transit line is on the agenda to develop the region.''
The first VP stressed that next year the transit lines will be as important as Oil industry for Iran. '' the Islamic Republic capacities are unpredictable and vast which we can join all continents ''Rahimi added.
He underlined '' the country’s railway road has the capacities to join African and European countries as well therefore progress in west railway plan leads to increase in regional market.''
